A band called Art Snakes needed illustrations for their new song called Smoke Town and that they would use to promote on social media.
The illustrations had to be linked to the lyrics and had to have an eerie and mysterious feel to them.

The following illustrations were influence by patriarchal societies, promoting women empowerment. The black and white photography merged with the flat bright red shapes covering the photographed faces is a beautiful contrast and metaphorical for the photographed women’s fight for individuality and a voice in a marginalised and restricted patriarchal society.
